Mid Cities Chapter - Fundraiser
A successful silent auction was held at the Carrollton “La Hacienda” restaurant in November 2010. We thank all the supporters for their donations and attendance! Mid Cities president Jeremy Smith and vice president Sterling Kropp presided over a fun evening of fajitas, libations and some good natured ribbing amongst the bidders. Some real bargains were to be had. Maybe this can become an annual event?
The Mid Cities chapter is very active in child safety. Jeremy has requested that Kristine Beckworth with KBYG (Know before you go) to be at our next Region 9 meeting at the Southwest Pool & Spa Show in February 2011. He has also challenged all of his members to participate in child water safety programs this spring. Sounds like a great idea for all chapters!
